The fishing village of St Abbs, located on the east coast of Scotland, is the filming location of New Asgard in Avengers: Endgame, and has since become a tourist hotspot! There are spoilers head…

After the city of Asgard (and and everything else) was destroyed by the ‘Snap’ in Avengers: Infinity War, the surviving Asgardian’s decide to rebuild their home, and rename it New Asgard as tribute. The Asgardian refugees and Sakaaran gladiators both settled here including Thor, who becomes an overweight drunk recluse, (which made for an iconic scene). St Abbs House, the white house overlooking the sea takes the role of Thor’s fictional pub ‘the Cormorant’, however some CGI was involved to make the building look Norwegian.

St Abbs is a great trip for Marvel fans, and it is only an hours drive from Edinburgh, which would also be very scenic!
